Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing connection problems with your USFamily.Net DSL service, there
is one thing you can do on your own, and can save you from having to call our technical
support line. A common problem with DSL connection difficulties is that your ActionTec
modem needs to be power-cycled (turned off and then back on).
To do this, simply unplug the black power cord
from the back of your modem, and after about 30 seconds, plug it back in. At this point,
your modem will automatically re-boot. Once the lights on your modem have become
solid green, you should be able to connect again.
