This has been very much a team effort. I wish to acknowledge the valuable assistance of Steve Finkelstein, Arlene Osborne, Jack Mann and Randy Minnehan in bringing this project this far. Thanks also to Ted Davenport of Radio Memories for supplying much needed material. Every OTR collector's good friend, Frank Passage, shared a partial log he had started some time ago, but was unable to complete due to the lack of the official script titles. I especially want to thank Ian Dickerson of the Saint Club for his generous help in providing the crucial official script titles, dates and other information. We all look forward to his biography of Leslie Charteris due out sometime in 1997.
Each episode is listed first in chronological order, and then alphabetically under the official script title, followed in parentheses by alternate titles as sold by various vendors. There follows the date of broadcast and the star who played Simon Templar. There is still some confusion about whether some of the available early episodes were the CBS versions, or the later repeats on MBS.
I call this a "compassionate" log because it gives the opening scene and dialogue for each episode for aid in identification. Just listen to the first moments of your tape and you should be able to match up the correct script title.
These are all the episodes I have in my collection. If you have any I don't have, let's swap and I will add them to the log. I will put this log on my own homepage (http://www.carleton.ca/~claughli/index.html) and will update it in the future as (hopefully) further episodes become available.
