Winter Solstice
The purpose of this ritual is to tie the ritualists into the completion of the Sun Lord's Cycle and the Lady's preservation of him to enable another cycle. Weeks before the Sabbat attendees are asked to find things that they have completed in the previous year that can be given to the Sun Lord.

Finally as Elder holding on to what was important in the past so that we will not lose what is important to us.
