President - Jody Isaackson
DIMENSIONS is like any other organization out there in the world in the fact that it takes several people to get the ball rolling and keep order. One such person is Jody Isaackson who is the organization president and the head of the local Marshall group.
Jody is the mother of three who lives in southwest Minnesota with her husband Dennis on the outskirts of Cottonwood.
She is indeed a very busy lady who works as a substitute teacher, a Mary Kay representative, member of the local pool league, busy member of her church and horse clubs.
When it comes to science fiction and fantasy, Jody has been part of the world of "fandom" since the early 90's by being the president of the Star Trek group Shuttle Tiberius, which became the USS Alam'ak member of Starfleet International and a sister club to the USS Czar'ak in the Twin Cities.
Sadly, the Alam'ak was unable to maintain its membership numbers to keep status in Starfleet and folded in 1998. In 1999, Jody became the Vice President of the Twin Cities local Starfleet group USS Czar'ak and taking up the challenge of organizing the Starfleet Region Six Summit 2000 in Marshall, Minnesota, to help the local Starfleet group manage their clubs and to just have fun. She stepped down as Vice President of the Czar'ak in 2000. It was also in 1999 that the idea and plan of DIMENSIONS came forward to the former Alam'ak, and it was quickly decided that Jody was the person to take a hold of the reins and lead this organization into the future.
When one meets Jody, one quickly notices the giant smile she always seems to have and the warm manner that she greets people with when they meet. One also notices that she is a very capable leader who can keep the most unruly member (namely Vice President Eric Anderson) under control, and can keep the meeting on track.
