Something had to go to make room for the Cobra project. It was either this or Sue's 1996 Ford Escort. Good-bye DeLorean. After 16 years -- Boo Hoo!!

Specifications For KR's Cobra:

All the "donor" parts cleaned, painted and ready to go. |
The engine re-build is well underway. |
The engine souped-up and ready for install. |
The kit arrives. It all started with the frame and boxes of parts. |
|
Front suspension, brakes, steering and some aluminum panels. |
Rear end, suspension, gas tank and battery. |
With the brakes and fuel lines in, the engine/tranny is installed. |
The 5 wiring harnesses are installed and sorted out. A dash harness is built. |

The engine starts!! Everything works. Yahoo!! Who had doubts? |
All the electronics checked out, most of the aluminum subchassis on, now it's ready for the body. |

Lots of bodywork necessary. |

It's home! Now the dash, carpeting lighting, windscreen, etc., etc. |
