5/11/09  Keith and Sue closed on their new house in El Mirage, AZ.  It's a nice little house of 1500 sq. ft., 3 bed room, 2 bath, 2 car garage, covered patio, etc. It was a short sale and the price was too good to pass up. Now all we have to do is furnish it.

4/3/09  Keith and Sue return to their home in Minnesota from a 4 month winter vacation in the Phoenix area. They did a lot of sightseeing including Tucson, Las Vegas, Riverside, Ca, Sadona, Flagstaff, etc., etc. Keith spent Christmas in Tucson with his cousin Richard (the goldsmith) while Sue was in MN doing her thing with friends. The weather was great (as always) and the desert was beautiful. Keith played lots of golf while Sue busied herself with knitting class, etc. They spent a lot of time with visiting friends and with Keith's cousin Steve and his wife Patty who lived close by.

12/26/08  Casey passed her esthetician license exam. This means she can exfoliate and extract on your face 'til your hearts content. Now it's off to nursing school so she can eventually pump your face full of botox. All this in exchange for a promising, high paying career as an actuary. Oh, well -- just so she's happy (never mind that her math degree cost her poverty stricken parents a trillion dollars).

10/23/08 Keith and Sue returned today from a one week trip to Pennsylvania.  Upon arriving in Philadelphia, they rented a car and drove to Lancaster County to visit all their Amish friends and check out every quilt store, quilt museum, quilt fabric, etc., in the area. From there, they drove to Gettysburg and spent almost two days exploring the civil war battlefield and other sights.  That done, they went back to Philly and saw all the historical sights downtown as well as Valley Forge.  Their last day was spent driving across New Jersey to the Atlantic coast and explored Cape May and Ocean City.  Click here to see some pictures of their whirlwind tour.
