We Had Santa Claus for Christmas Dinner

When Santa Claus came down our chimney one Christmas Eve
He really must have had an awful fright
'Cause before we went to bed we roasted weenies
And we left the Yule Log burning oh so bright

When we found him Christmas morning
He was much the worse for wear
He was roasted like a turkey
So we brought him to the table then and there

Oh We Had Santa Claus for Christmas Dinner
He really made our party what it was
It sounds gruesome but it's true
Hard to swallow, hard to chew
He even brought us presents in his sack
But I don't think he's ever coming back
No, I don't think he's ever coming back

Some angry neighbors went and called the cops that fateful day
I guess they thought that something was amiss
When we saw them at the door we all got nervous
But Ma handled it as easily as this
She invited them to dinner
No one ever had before
So then how could they arrest us
'Cause they ate the evidence and asked for more

(Repeat Chorus)
