This song was written mostly at the bus stop waiting to catch the bus to work. I was fairly new to the working world and I hadn't completely given up on music yet.
The reason for the song was that my son had just moved away to school. It was surprisingly traumatic to let him go and the song is just me telling myself (through him) that this is what happens in life, children leave home to become people in their own right.
Recording Notes:
This is the second song recorded using the home studio recording software. Although the song was begun in the early 90's, it wasn't completly finished until I began recording it.
