[Additional information from Elizabeth Ekstrom Richards: [Joseph] Chester Pancake married Florence May Alkire, the daughter of John W. and Susannah (Maddox) Alkire, on January 12, 1882 in Pickaway County. They had a son named Alva Pancake. They apparently divorced since Florence was living at the time of her mother's death in 1917 and Chester married Pearl Sabine about 1892.]
