William Henry Pankake was born June 10, 1853 in Ironton, Ohio, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pankake, and died Jan. 16 1930 at Kimball, Minn.
He came to Minnesota when he was fourteen years old and has made that his home ever since, living on a farm five miles south of Kimball up till about twelve years ago, then he resided in the village of Kimball.
He was a kind and loving father and leaves to mourn his loss five children as follows: Daisy, Margie and Russell at home, Emil of Montana, Mrs. Emmett Smith of Kimball, Minn., and nine grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. William Donahue of Kimball, Mrs. Joe Donahue of Kimball, and Mrs. B. W. Cromwell of Coleharbor, N. D.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 P. M. at the M. E. Church, Rev. F. Williams officiating, assisted by Rev. Waldo Brown, with burial at North Kingston cemetery.
