GRAYCE ANN SMITH

     Grayce Ann Smith departed this life Tuesday afternoon, September 12 at the Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. She was born in Kingston Township August 28, 1889, the daughter of Henry and Mary Pankake.
     She was married to Emmett Smith April 3, 1913 and together they farmed south of Kimball for many years. Her husband preceded her in death Sept. 7, 1951.
     Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Uri Heaton (Zelda) White Bear Lake; Mrs. Leslie Nordeen (Vera) Minneapolis; Mrs. Orlo Steele (Berlyn) Kimball; Mrs. Warren Pramann (Shirley) Minneapolis; and one son, Sherrill of Kimball. There are 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and one half-sister, Mrs. George Bergan, Fargo, North Dakota.
     Funeral Services were held September 15 at 2 p.m. at the Kimball Methodist Church with Rev. Robert McClelland and Mr. Dale Friddle officiating. Mr. Friddle is minister of the White Bear Lake Church of Christ, of which Mrs. Smith was a member. Organist was Mrs. Alton Greeley soloist was Mrs. Harold Tenney. Pallbearers were her grandsons: Curtis Heaton, Ronald Nordeen, Warren Pramann, Jr., Gary Steele, Roger Nordeen and Wayne Heaton.
     Interment was in the Kimball Cemetery.
