Susie was born in Lawrence County, Ohio to John and Martha Ann (Donahue) Pancake/Pankake. She also lived in Stearns, Sherburne, and Hennepin Counties, Minnesota. Her first husband was Willis A. Rigby. Myrtle and Gertrude were his children. Her second husband was Chester H. Gasman. Colonel was his son.

Myrtle had moved to Minneapolis and married Benno Kimmerle by 1910. Gertrude died in Kimball, Minnesota in 1901. Colonel lived most of his life in Glenwood, Minnesota.

Special Term Sept 26, 1892
In the matter of the Estate of C. H. Gasman Deceased. On reading approving and filing the administrator's bond of Susie Gasman of the County of Grant and State of Minnesota and Arthur C. [Belzca?] and J.B. Skogmo of the said County and State, as sureties, in the sum of Four hundred ($400.00) dollars, conditioned according to law:
It is Deduced and Adjudged that the said Susie Gasman be and she is is hereby appointed administratrix of the estate of C. H. Gasman deceased.
It is Deduced Further, That Letters of Administration be to her issued, and that said Letter and Bond be recorded.
Dated at Elbow Lake the 26th day of September A.D. 1892
