Mrs. Lillian D. Pancake

     Mrs. Lillian D. Pancake, 75, 6825 - 71st Ave. N., died January 8 at Mercy Hospital in Anoka, the result of a stroke. She had been ill for two years.
     Lillian D. Johnson, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Magnus Johnson, was born in Kingston on December 26, 1897. She was married to James Pancake in Kingston on Sept. 4, 1924. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids.
     Surviving are four children, Mrs. Marjorie Christian of Brooklyn Park, Mrs. Alta Erickson of Coon Rapids, Eugene Pancake of Minneapolis, and Kenneth Pancake of Forest Lake; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
     Also surviving are five brothers and sisters, Victor Johnson of South Haven, Francis Johnson of Darwin, Magnus Johnson of Litchfield, Mrs. Archie Meline of Kimball, and Florence Erickson of Litchfield.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, James Pancake.
     Funeral services were held January 11 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ostmark Lutheran Church, rural Watkins, with the Rev. Larry Tantow officiating. Organist was John Kling and soloist was Mrs. Harlan Johnson. Interment was in the Forest City Cemetery.
     Pallbearers were Gary Erickson, James Erickson, Bill Pancake, Scott Pancake, Clay Christian, and Jack Roundsville.
