Dash harness after excess wire removal

Dash harness connections to headlight harness and starter switch

Fusebox and upper footbox

I removed the extra wires in the harnesses for stuff not needed (radio, power windows, etc).Between all the different harnesses, I've removed about 10lbs of wiring. Besides the weight, which I really don't care about, it makes troubleshooting a lot easier. There is also a lot less clutter and this makes it look a little bit better when finished. This is so far the hardest part to make look neat. It seems like no matter what I do, it looks bad. I think if I had to do it all over again, I'd purchase a street rod harness and start from scratch. The mustang harness is not quite an exact fit. Most of the time the wires are too long which means either cutting and splicing or getting creative with my routing.

Dash panel mockup with the Stewart Warner Deluxe gauges.(Temperature gauge is missing.)  I made a wood panel to test gauge placement. This also lets me build up my gauge harness.
The gauges I'm using from right to left:

Electric tach
mechanical speedo
(upper row)
mechanical oil pressure
coolant temp - I'm undecided on electric or mechanical.
vacuum
(lower row)
fuel gauge
voltmeter

I went with a mechanical oil pressure gauge instead of electric mainly because I like the looks of the 270 degree sweep.
I would like to use a mechanical coolant temp gauge for the same reason but I can't figure out a good place to install the sensor. I don't really need a oil temp gauge and an ammeter gauge is kinda redundant with a voltmeter gauge. This left me with an extra hole to fill so I went with a vacuum gauge (270 degree sweep).

I installed three (so far) Molex connectors to mate the gauge harness with the dash harness. I believe this will make the wiring a little cleaner and I know it makes it easier to take the dash in and out. The ignition switch and headlight switch I purchased from Ron Francis' Wire Works (1-800-292-1940)  I've added an two extra indicator lights from what Factory Five included with the kit. The one is for the ECM check engine while the other is for an extra turnsignal indicator.
