This is a family sailer with 28" draft and it's non-heeling quality is accomplished with broad buoyancy in the chines and a shallow step-down keel which also provides standing headroom below decks. There is 4" of lead ballast in the floor of the keel (~1200 lbs).
It's interesting how large the keel feels from inside the cabin and how small it looks from below.
