Here is the Mexican Air Force on Cozumel peeling off from
a tight
formation to land.

While bicycling down a side street I heard the unmistakable cry of a
Macaw parrot or two and found this guy and his pal caged up
in a small courtyard and they had plenty to say about it !

I thought I saw a giant ant on the sidewalk but it turned out to be a
bug of some sort.

This Gecko is trying to look white like it's background.

Yah, well, I've just been killing time before my flight home. Blanquita
said it would be OK to chain my Triciclo up in the courtyard until next
winter so I did. The guys at the air plant put my tank in the storage
room for safe keeping. I traded my weight belt back to Deb at Deep Blue
along with a floating 'diver down' flag for a couple boat dives
next winter. I finally got an employees shirt from Gabby at the Mission
restaurant after 2 years of asking. I turned my key to the AA clubhouse
over to Jerry from NY so he can open early for the meeting he leads.
Lots of odds and ends. I napped some the night before I was to leave
and hit the street with my pile of luggage at 4 AM to catch the 5 AM
ferry to Playa Del Carmen.

In PDC I woke my pal Richard up to visit and say good-by and caught the
8 AM bus to the Cancun airport. Last year Sun Country used a remote
terminal that required a free shuttle bus to access but this year they
were in the main terminal so getting checked in was a lot easier. On
the way out we got a look at Isla Mujeres just off Cancun.

In Minneapolis I rewarded my ride home with a trip to my favorite
restaurant, Q.Cumbers in light snow showers.

Next day the reality of my new situation started to sink in.
Welcome home !

Here is an American triciclo I spotted on a visit to the library a
couple days after I got back.

I had lunch with a pal who has a boat yard over by Wisconsin.
Here is a parking meter in front of the restaurant where we ate. Yes
it's a small town.

They do all sorts of sailboat repair at his yard and they have a yard
full of used boats that are for sale on consignment.

There is another row of boats behind the camera where my ark rests. I
bought it out of an auction last spring (05). There is going to be
plenty to do this Spring to get it back in the water..

Here is the Ford diesel I got off eBay last summer to pull it with.
Reasonable price but educational experience curing some it's mysterious
(intermitant) behaviors.

As you can see I'm safely back in the frozen north and acclimating.
