Here is that poor broken toy
again. Maybe it's so small no one can see it. (doesn't that back tire look
a little low too?) Poor thing.
Here is an art form a friend
of mine and I talked about years ago. Fun to do if you had access to a
kiln.
For the benefit of my friends
in the Minneapolis chapter of the HPVA I'm sending along a picture of a
Honda 'Express' because it looks like such a promising candidate for 'Recumbent'
conversion.
(I have since met the owner and he said
it is one of two on the island and that the cables that run inside the
frame rusted on the other one and it disappered from the street. The oil
injecton pump failed on this one and the piston welded itself to the cylinder.
Some very clever local mechanics drove the piston out and bored the cylinder
+0.020" and installled a Suzuki piston. It's owner said it goes 10 MPH
faster now)
Here is a big cat visiting
the Island. Note the 'V' berth viewing windows inside the tunnel.
What a great place to play when underweigh.
This huge zipper is on the
back of a back pack. Wouldn't it be fun to have it on a winter jacket.
(That's humor)
There is a very popular Mexican
drink called Ha-mike-ah (not yamaka, Linda). It is an iced tea made from
Hibiscus like flower petals. The taste is excellent.
