Week 8d
I saw this Adirondack rocker in a store on a side street and lost track of the loction. I looked up 'Adirondack rocker' on eBay and found the identical item for $89. Last week I found the store again and asked the price. . . . . 1800 Pesos!  Looks to me like a guy could buy some plans, knock a couple pallets apart and make one for ~$10.

On New Years day I biked up to the North end of the island to sight-see and check out some beach diving locations. Below is a public beach across from the Mexican Military family housing area. In the background, looking South, is the Disney cruise ship. In the evening before they depart they call the passengers back aboard by playing the first eight notes from 'When You Wish Upon A star' on their fog horns. Where that family is playing in the water is a sand chute that goes between the rocks to deeper water. There are not too many of those around.

Here is some really nice local stonework. This is just a small part of a huge walled villa on the sea.
