Jim has many hours of experience instructing in many planes.  The plane on the left, a Cessna 172 is a typical high wing trainer.  It has docile characteristics and is very easy to fly. The plane on the right is a Piper Lance and is a high performance, complex plane that requires many hours of training and experience to fly well.  Jim has trained many pilots to fly both.
