Suin Lowary Dancer, Green Fire Irish Dancers Suin has performed with Green Fire Irish
Dancers since Christmas of 2003. In addition to the job that pays the bills
(attorney editor at West Publishing), she teaches ceili dancing at the Dubliner
Pub in St. Paul, every Wednesday night from 7 to 9 p.m. She also studies the
Irish language at Gaeltacht Minnesota, and has been known to burst into song if
plied with a pint or two of Guinness. Favorite Songs:
Zachari
Dancer, Green Fire Irish Dancers Zachari began Irish dancing during college as a member of the ACTC Irish Dance club while earning a bachelor's degree in elementary education at the University of Saint Thomas. She officially joined Green Fire at the beginning of its second year. Her favorite dances to perform are those in Victorian costume. Zachari also teaches ballet at a variety of locations. She is currently in the process of starting her own ballet studio. Her website is www.pasdedeuxdance.com. Favorite Songs: 1.Si Beagh, 2. Si Mor 3. Space Ceilidh, By Natalie Mac Masters. Sarah Marie James is a nursing student at the College of St. Catherine. She began Irish dancing at the Conway Community Center in the summer of 2003. There, Joe Richter was her first instructor. Sarah, at first, knew nothing about Irish dance, but caught on quickly mostly thanks to her too-short Achilles tendons (for Irish dancers spend lots of time on their toes rather than flat on their feet). In the fall of that year, Sarah began dancing with Green Fire and continues to dance with the company. She enjoys Irish dance and performing greatly. TOP Revised: April 13, 2006 . |
