Sarah Marie James                                Dancer, Green Fire Irish Dancers

Sarah Marie James is a nursing student at the College of St. Catherine.  She began Irish dancing at the Conway Community Center in the summer of 2003.  There, Joe Richter was her first instructor.  Sarah, at first, knew nothing about Irish dance, but caught on quickly mostly thanks to her too-short Achilles tendons (for Irish dancers spend lots of time on their toes rather than flat on their feet).  In the fall of that year, Sarah began dancing with Green Fire and continues to dance with the company.  She enjoys Irish dance and performing greatly.                                                                                                                 TOP
