Done So Far...

Engine pulled

Engine Dissasembled

Parts of engine were selectively scrapped

Steering wheel removed

Wires removed, bolts removed and body taken off

Hood removed from body

Front suspension removed

Rest of chassis dissasembled to bare pan

Jeff Sampson gave me an engine (thanks a lot jeff)

Front suspension sandblasted, front torsion tubes removed,
and it was decided that they were rusted beyond repair.

A donor car was located, towed home and front torsion tubes were
removed, sandblasted, and painted 85% gloss black

Tranny cleaned off, painted

10-99 diff reinstalled, plates put back on, awaiting swing axle tubes.

11-99 Driver side swing axle, retainer, stiffener, back on. Still awaiting passenger side - already cleaned, but will be painted when weather is nicer...

09-18-99 Most of the front suspension components were installed
with new seals on the torsion tubes. now out to side torsion
arms with the exception of the top driver side one. Front l/p kit has been purchased, but not installed.

9-26-99 Re-sandblast the front driver side torsion arm, paint epoxy gloss black. Install on torsion tube/bars and then expand out to driver side spindle

9-23-99 Front passenger spindle and king pin will be rebuilt, and repainted.
----------10-99 did that. now on torsion arm assembly awaiting tie rod end.

11-21 Took off the passenger side donor car swingaxle assembly, cleaned/repainted and now awaiting installation.
