Greenbuggy.com, the home of the greenbuggy, a 1959 Volkswagen based kit car. The greenbuggy project began in july of 1997 when a classified ad for a "free car" was followed up. However free the original was, the current one isn't, and has since that fateful day has undergone a complete bottom up restoration, including sandblasting, pan repair, paint job (both body and pan), as well as work rebuilding the suspension, electrical system, engine, and transmission. This site is the ongoing drama of a champagne restoration done on a beer budget.
