one an alumni of that college. One must feel great pride in being a graduate of that college
in order to be an alumni. So, this hat proves that you are an alumni of U of M, Daddy! It
shows that you are proud to be a graduate of the University of Minnesota, and that you
are willing to share that pride with your daughter by giving me this hat."
