Proposed Prime Crew for the second Apollo C mission The second planned solo test space flight of the Apollo command and service modules was officially cancelled on December 22, 1966 when the flight was seen as unnecessary. Apollo 7 completed the objectives of the Apollo C mission after the Apollo 1 fire. The prime crew became the new backup crew of the Apollo AS-204 mission after the Apollo AS-205 mission was cancelled. |
