Slow Login

If you you find logging into the Internet takes 2 minutes instead of the normal 35-60 seconds, you may have the setting "Log on to network" erroneously set.

double click My computer
double click Dial Up Networking
right click the USFamily.Net icon (other mouse button)
select properties
click the Server Types tab
make sure there is no check in "Log on to network" (A check mark adds over a minute of unnecessary searching for a private NT server to connect to)
